Matthew Orlando

Matthew Orlando is President of Informative Research, leading the organization’s strategic vision and innovation. With 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial technology industries, Orlando brings a cross-functional leadership approach that spans product, legal, and sales, enabling him to align business strategy with market needs, CRA transformation, and long-term growth.

Prior to his current role, Orlando held a variety of leadership positions at both Equifax and Informative Research, where he built deep expertise across product management, product strategy, innovation, and commercial execution. His career has been defined by an ability to connect complex regulatory, technical, and customer challenges with scalable solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Orlando is an active participant in several leading industry organizations, including the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Housing Policy Council, and the National Community Reinvestment Association. He is guided by a people-first leadership philosophy, grounded in the belief that doing right by customers and colleagues leads to lasting success. He embraces challenge, seeing discomfort as the driver for personal and professional growth.

Outside of work, Orlando is deeply family oriented, has a strong interest in history and geopolitics, and is a fan of comedian Norm Macdonald’s body of work.
