SVP, Borrower Journey Engineer

Kurt E. Raymond, CMB, is Vice President and Risk Platform Engineer at Informative Research, where he helps guide the development and go-to-market strategy of the company’s Risk Platform. With three decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Raymond brings deep expertise in risk management, borrower-centric strategy, and operational execution to support the evolution of data-driven lending solutions.

Raymond’s career spans leadership roles across mortgage operations, sales, marketing, and risk management. He spent more than a decade at DataVerify as Senior Vice President of Risk Management, where he played a key role in shaping risk strategies and solutions for lenders nationwide. Earlier in his career, he held positions at InterFirst Wholesale Lending, ABN AMRO Mortgage, and CitiMortgage, and CBC Companies. He has also founded and co-founded multiple business ventures focused on referral networks and industry connectivity.

Raymond is a Certified Mortgage Banker and is an active member of both the MBA and the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, where he previously served as Southeast Chapter President. He brings a pragmatic, experience-driven perspective to his work, shaped by a career that began outside the industry and reinforced by a willingness to adapt and grow.

Outside of work, Raymond is a passionate Detroit sports fan, supporting the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and both Michigan and Michigan State. He is also a car enthusiast with a “divided garage,” owning both a 2014 Mustang and a 1968 Camaro, and values time spent supporting his family.
