Corey Hampton

VP Project Manager

Corey Hampton is Vice President of Project Management at Informative Research, where she leads the company’s project management office and aligns delivery execution with business strategy. With 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial technology industries, Hampton focuses on driving lending growth, operational efficiency, and improved borrower outcomes through disciplined portfolio management and execution.

In her current role, Hampton oversees the full project portfolio, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and ensuring delivery is on time and within budget. She leads efforts to establish governance, standardization, and transparency across the organization, while providing executive-level visibility into progress, risk, and return on investment. Known for building high-performing teams, she is focused on driving operational excellence and continuously improving processes to remove obstacles and deliver measurable results.

Prior to joining Informative Research, Hampton spent nearly two decades at DataVerify, where she held a series of leadership roles culminating in Vice President of Integrations. She led the development of integration platforms and APIs, supported key LOS integrations including Blend and ICE EPC, and played a critical role in transitioning clients to new industry standards such as URLA and MISMO 3.4. Throughout her tenure, she built and led cross-functional teams, partnered closely with sales and executive leadership, and helped shape long-term technology and business strategy.

Hampton has been recognized as a HousingWire 40 Under 40 honoree. She is guided by a balanced approach to leadership, grounded in the belief that professional success and personal priorities should coexist, and that maintaining perspective is key to long-term fulfillment.

Outside of work, Hampton enjoys baking, including her signature caramel apple pecan pie and weekly sourdough bread. She also raises chickens and spends much of the spring and summer at the baseball field supporting her two sons.
