Shannon Santos

EVP of Data Solutions

Shannon Santos is Executive Vice President, Data Solutions at Informative Research, where she leads sales, service, and strategy for the Data Solutions organization. With 23 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry, Santos brings deep expertise in mortgage technology, credit, risk management, and data-driven solutions, helping clients navigate an evolving market with the tools and insights they need to succeed.

Santos began her industry career as an Area Sales Representative at LSI Local Solutions, providing title and closing services to mid-tier banks, credit unions, and lenders. She joined Informative Research in 2006 as Vice President of National Sales, later serving as Senior Account Executive based in Chicago, where she focused on credit reporting, verification services, AVMs, fraud tools, and risk platform solutions for mortgage lenders. She advanced to Senior Vice President of Business Development for Data Solutions in 2018 and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Data Solutions in May 2022. Her steady progression reflects both deep institutional knowledge and a consistent track record of driving growth and client success.

Santos is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and was recognized as a Stewart Presidents Club Winner in 2024. She is committed to giving back to her community, supporting her local church, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and her local food bank, while also looking for smaller, everyday ways to help others. Her leadership approach is grounded in the belief that mindset is everything — that attitude defines the difference between a good and bad day, and that most difficulties are opportunities disguised in adversity. She considers relationships her "super power" and has a particular talent for developing and maintaining connections across all levels.

Outside of work, Santos competes nationally in Hunter Jumper horseback riding. In 2024, she was named Champion of the USHJA Adult Amateur Championship for her age group in Lexington, Kentucky, and she and her horse earned Reserve Champion honors for the USHJA Zone Horse of the Year award. A former Division 1 athlete, she played water polo at the University of Southern California and remains dedicated to strength training. She once held the USC Women's bench press record at 205 pounds.
