Patrick Buckner is Head of Data Solutions at Informative Research, where he leads business growth and strategy for the company’s data solutions portfolio. With 16 years of experience in the mortgage and financial technology industries, Buckner focuses on expanding data-driven capabilities, aligning strategy with market needs, and delivering solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Buckner has built his career at Informative Research, holding a series of senior leadership roles across strategy, product, and operations. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, where he leads enterprise-wide execution and performance. Previously, he served as Chief Strategy Officer, advising on company growth, M&A, and expansion initiatives, and as President of Data Solutions, where he led the organization through key phases of investment and innovation. Earlier roles include Senior Vice President of Portfolio Solutions, Vice President of Strategy & Innovation, and Vice President of Product & Business Development, giving him a well-rounded foundation across both business and technology functions.

Buckner has been recognized as a TechCrunch Rising Star and has previously participated in industry organizations such as the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Direct Marketing Association. He is guided by a process-driven mindset, sharing the best career advice he has very received: “Concentrate on process over people. You can overcome most challenges by improving the systems and structure behind it.” He also emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and building expertise in new areas to drive effective decision-making.

Buckner is committed to giving back to the community, contributing time and resources to support underserved communities and organizations such as the American Cancer Association. Outside work and volunteering, Buckner grew up a Newport Beach lifeguard and played water polo at the University of California, where he was part of a national championship team. He is also a classic car enthusiast and owns a 1964 Corvette.
