Customer Service Tip of the Month
Here at IR, we strive to deliver seamless service that makes your credit transactions simple to complete. For this reason, we will be including a customer service tip in each month's newsletter to ensure that your transactions go as smooth as possible. This month's tip
will show you how to remove a borrower or co-borrower from a credit report.
To remove a borrower or co-borrower, log into IR's Web Credit System (WCS), and select the report list tab. On the report list page, locate the credit report that you want to work with. After selecting the correct credit report, look t o the report list
task menu in the left sidebar. From these tasks, you can choose the remove co-borrower or the remove borrower options. Finally , select which borrower you would like removed from the report. Instantly, a new report showing credit information for only one person is generated. You will then have access to the new, one-borrower report, as well as the
original report that features both a borrower and co-borrower. Both of these reports can be re-issued through Fannie Mae and several other automated underwriting engines. There is a cost to use this feature, but the fee is less than the price of pulling a new report. For additional questions, please contact
