INFORMATIVE RESEARCH ADDS NOVASTAR AS AFFILIATE

GARDEN GROVE, CALIF., FEBRUARY 1, 2007 - Informative Research, a leading provider of credit and mortgage-related information, today announced the addition of NovaStar Mortgage, Inc., to its Affiliate Program.

The addition effectively connects NovaStar Mortgage, the primary loan origination unit of Kansas City, MO-based NovaStar Financial, Inc., with Informative Research Affiliate Program subscribers from three different segments of the lending community, allowing shared access to loan programs, AUS/LOS technology and streamlined credit report re-issues.

“Having (NovaStar) on board is a huge benefit,” said Informative Research Business Development Manager Donovan Williams, “because they have the innovative mortgage programs and technology that our other subscribers really want. According to Williams, the NovaStar addition follows a recent announcement by Informative Research about the expansion of its Affiliate Program. This program, launched in early 2006, links wholesale lenders, credit reporting agencies (CRAs) and lending technology providers together through a network for the purpose of safely sharing accurate credit information, minimizing loan fallout, eliminating the need for multiple re-issues and opening up a broader customer base to all participants.

“For lenders like NovaStar, being a part of the Affiliate Network means maximum connectivity with minimal infrastructure, Williams explained. “If a NovaStar broker uses a credit report from Informative Research or one of its affiliate partners, they can re-issue it seamlessly, without the added cost or the potential adverse effects of re-pulling the borrower’s credit.”

The Informative Research Affiliate Program network currently consists of more than 100 subscribers. Further expansion is planned this year.
