CREDIT ADVANTAGE PUTS SCORES, TOOLS FRONT AND CENTER
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. – March 12th, 2008 – Credit reports issued by Informative Research include a new feature that lets mortgage originators instantly view the most critical borrower score information and access credit score improvement tools.
The new Credit Advantage feature, provided free of charge on every Informative Research credit report, presents high, middle and low scores from all three credit bureaus in an easy-to-read table on the first page. Links below each score provide single-click access to the company’s online credit simulation and optimization service offerings.
Developed to help originators quickly identify the “middle,” or “medium” scores used by many lenders to calculate borrower interest rates and determine loan program eligibility, the Credit Advantage feature saves valuable processing time. It places important bureau data up front, and eliminates the need for a prolonged review of other borrower information, including collection accounts, bankruptcies, tax liens, foreclosures, wage garnishments, lawsuits, and judgments that may be considered secondary to credit scores. .
“In the past, originators had to sift through tons of information to find their client’s mid-scores,” says Informative Research Sales VP Joe Allison. “While all of that information is important, it can be very time-consuming to review, especially when there’s a co-borrower involved. With this [Credit Advantage] feature, there’s no busy work. Originators can find what they need, and then immediately determine whether there are opportunities for improvement.”
Earlier this month, Informative Research integrated the new Credit Advantage feature into its online ordering system at www.informativeresearch.com. The feature is automatically added at no additional cost to all one, two, and three-bureau reports, and it presents both borrower and co-borrower score ranges for joint report orders. About
