New Web-based Credit Ordering System Launched
by Informative Research
Permission-based Features Bring New
Ease and Greater Options to Loan Originators and Processors
GARDEN GROVE, Calif., Nov. 18 –
Informative Research (IR), a leading independent mortgage
credit reporting agency announced today that loan professionals
can more easily manage their credit reporting transactions
with the launch of IR’s enhanced Web Credit System.
Informative Research has invested millions of dollars to
ensure that customers are well supported to move forward
as they rely more on technology to ease the workflow for
loan originators and processors, and to power decisions.
“Informative Research’s
enhanced Web Credit platform provides greater functionality
and flexibility to users and management,” said Abe
Chang, Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information
Services. “Our customers require robust systems that
easily integrate credit reporting and accompanying products
into their loan processes. The new web-based credit platform
addresses our customers’ immediate needs while enabling
the introduction of new features as they become available.”
A flexible rule and permissions-based
design allows companies of any size to utilize the technology
to their advantage. Offices can be set up to create hierarchies
that allow a company’s headquarters to run reports
on net branch facilities. Users and management alike can
gain a better awareness of what products are ordered and
how those products are used by a particular office. Auto-notification
processes for credit supplements and re-scoring mechanisms
are set so that the customer can receive updates via email,
PDA or web-enabled phone.
The user interface has been redesigned
so that users will only see the options for which they have
permissions to activate. Details, including pricing will
update as more products and options are added to the user’s
selection, and the user clicks “Update Details.”
Users have more options as they migrate through their credit
transaction, and can more readily order supplements for
the credit reports they have ordered, or on behalf of another
user in their office.
Similar to the online retailing model,
each order has a “cart,” where the products
are able to be viewed and purchased, or edited, in one smooth
step. Users can review the selections they have made, and
the services they have ordered prior to completing their
order. At any time, they can log back into the system to
review the orders they have placed, and may cancel those
orders that have not yet been assigned to one of their dedicated
customer service team members. Should the order already
be in process, the system will identify the request as having
been “assigned” so that the user knows IR will
need to be called with any additional information.
The system is entirely web-based, utilizing
the latest web-based technology and Microsoft .NET architecture,
as well as SQL Server. The platform uses web services technology
and has n-tier architecture so that it is scalable and flexible
in addressing the quick timeframes required by both loan
originators and lenders with automated underwriting solutions.
Informative Research’s new web credit
system will allow vendors who support MISMO rules to easily
and quickly integrate to order credit. IR’s affiliate
network is anticipated to grow more rapidly as third-party
credit providers find it easier to connect to the IR network.
Better security including the latest encryption standards,
one-way encryption for passwords, and TruSecure SiteSecure
certification means that IR customers and affiliates both
are certain to benefit.
